computer building list check?

i am in the process of summing up the cost of all the parts for my new PC.
i have only previously built IDE based systems, and am now building a SATA based system, and on my list i have
motherboard
processor
CD drive
case
graphics cards
Hard Drive
is there anything i am missing?
and also are there any tips you can give?
