no, eric, us republicans dont give a crap about the well being of all people, just the people who still have jobs(that make at least 250,000 $s a year)

Where is the money going to come from? Has Socialism worked in other countries that have tried it and why are countries that have tried it turning to free markets and capitalism?

Interesting question, it seems kind of easy though. I'd say:

What do the people want me to do?
What is best for my country?
If those two questions don't have the same answer, how do I rectify that? If they do, how do I do it?

Leaders should be asking those anyway, at any and all times though.

Are these the questions of a leftist, politically isolated, academic elite? Those are fair questions? I would have to say-how do we funk the Right wing, religious ideologues that pervert our open and free society for their own, greedy and sickly ends that destroy our culture and lifestyle, whether it agrees with their obnoxious "good book" or not! Freedom isn't pretty, but its' pretty damn good. Wouldn't it be a good idea to separate church and state without condemning either? Do you even know that by Constitutional decree you represent the people and not the corporate, business interests?
